enjoy some relief!
Most clients start to feel more clarity, calm, or self-compassion after a few weeks. The deeper changes take time, but even small shifts — better sleep, less reactivity, more self-trust — can bring a real sense of relief.
Is it trauma? ADHD? Something else entirely?
It’s a good and complicated question — and you’re not alone in asking it.
Many of my clients come to trauma therapy after receiving — or considering — an ADHD diagnosis. Sometimes, it’s hard to know which is which. (And honestly, it’s often both.)
Trauma can affect focus, memory, and emotional regulation in ways that mimic ADHD. And living with ADHD can increase your vulnerability to overwhelming or traumatic experiences — especially in childhood.
If you're not sure where to begin, my ADHD assessment process is trauma-informed and designed to help clarify what’s going on.
Or if you already know you’re managing both, we can integrate ADHD-friendly tools into our trauma therapy work.
I’m a holistic therapist with academic and clinical training in both trauma and ADHD. So if you’re wondering whether it’s this or that — or both — I’m ready to meet you where you are.

Trauma has its own timing. If you're here, there's likely a part of your story that's resurfacing and asking to be worked through — that’s a powerful place to begin. Healing doesn’t happen all at once. Some clients stay for a few months to work through one layer, then take a break. Others continue for a year or more.
We’ll move at your pace, and you can return whenever you're ready for the next step.

Our work together isn’t about digging into pain for its own sake. First, we focus on creating safety — emotionally, cognitively, and physiologically — so your system can begin to release what it’s been holding.
My approach is integrative, grounded in relational therapy, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation. I often weave in psychoeducation and draw from IFS, DBT, and polyvagal theory to support insight and change.
Whether you're working through childhood trauma, emotional neglect, or the relentless, invisible stress of life abroad, we’ll move at your pace, with your needs at the center.
-
ADHD and trauma often exist together, and sometimes it’s hard to know which is which at first. That’s okay — we’ll explore both. If it begins to look like ADHD is part of the picture, we can talk about doing a screening or incorporating ADHD-specific coaching into our work. Untangling overlapping threads takes time and care, but with patience and self-compassion, clarity does come.
